    VPS PHP file extensions

I am trying to enable PHP extensions to allow for a moodle install.

    I have to change:

    php-fileinfo from off to on

    php-iconv from off to on

    php-intl from off to on

I cannot get this to work on the VPS.  All of the information I can find is for shared hosting.  It seems like it should be easy.

    I appreciate any help.

On a VPS you need to go in via WHM (master server control panel) Then to EasyApache.

Once in the Easy Apache configuration you can skip down to the PHP extensions and install the ones you want. (along with what PHP versions you want)

    Re: VPS PHP file extensions

Thank you.  I found that but the revisions were not sticking.

I managed to get them to stick.  Thank you for the help.

    1. Enter WHM
    2. Use EasyApache4 and find phpextensions and make all revisions using the 'customize' button
    3. Save the changes into a 'profile'
    4. Go back to the EasyApache4 start page
    5. Find the saved 'profile'
    6. 'Provision' the profile

I was getting stuck because I wasn't provisioning the profile.  Provision is a weird word.  I'm new to the VPS environment and that got me stuck for a while.

    All the best,
