To all,
I have a production site and a stage site.
I understand the stage site is not for public view
My question is
How is the data shared on the backend ?
I know you synchronize the two at the beginning.
I know you have to move changes from your stage site to your live site
I get confused because when I look at the backend I only see one
wp-config.php file in public_html directory
Does the production and stage website use the same database?
Do they share the same wp-config.php file?
If not, where is the wp-config.php file in production?(directory)
Thank You

Managed WordPress does not have a cPanel -
You need to use SFTP or you can install WP File Manager in WordPress itself
Managed WordPress is designed that GoDaddy takes care of the behind the scenes stuff so that is why the panel only has a few options on it.

I am assuming you are using Managed WordPress -
Assuming that is correct the staging site (which has a myftpupload.com domain) is a completely separate site with it's own home directory, database, etc
After it is created then the two sites are no longer in sync and other then manually making sure you update content in both places there is no way to keep them in sync
When you are done and Push Staging to Production it completely overwrites what is on the production site

In the Managed WordPress Control Panel - https://myh.godaddy.com -> Your site you should see something that says
Settings
Product | Staging
You can then click on staging and see the SFTP / phpMyAdmin settings ....
You can also click staging at the top of the page and see these settings along the right side of the page
